What To Do When You Feel Outnumbered? - Week 5

Have you ever felt outnumbered—at work, in your home, or in the culture around you? When the pressure to give in or give up grows stronger, how do we stay anchored in faith? Join us this Sunday as guest speaker Ruth Franks continues our Storm Chasers series with a powerful message: “What To Do When You Feel Outnumbered?”

Rooted in 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT), we’re reminded that trials test and purify our faith, proving it more valuable than gold. Peter’s letter calls us to persevere through life’s storms because we have a secure hope in Jesus (1 Pet. 1:3-4), a call to holy living (1 Pet. 1:14-16), a place in God’s bigger plan (1 Pet. 2:4-5), and a mission to reach those far from God (1 Pet. 2:11-12).

But perseverance isn't passive. It means living like Jesus would if He were in our shoes—responding to government, coworkers, family, and even critics with grace and strength. Ruth will walk us through four powerful, biblical responses when we feel outnumbered:

 1. Cultivate a yielding attitude.                                                                                                                                                                                        2. Always respond with respect.                                                                                                                                                                                   3. Choose to endure unfair treatment patiently.                                                                                                                                                 4. Decide to follow Jesus’ example—not the world’s behavior

Come ready to be encouraged and challenged as we learn how to stand strong when we feel surrounded. There is joy ahead, even in the storm!
