Indifference

Join us for the third sermon in our series, "What would Jesus CANCEL?" as we delve into the peril of indifference. Drawing from Revelation 3:15-16, we confront the danger of being lukewarm in our faith, neither fully committed nor passionately opposed. Two primary causes emerge: self-sufficiency, where material wealth blinds us to our spiritual poverty, and the distractions of worldly concerns that suffocate our connection to the divine (Revelation 3:17, Mark 4:19). Living with lukewarm indifference, we prioritize human approval over divine obedience, fixating on earthly pleasures rather than eternal truths. We justify sin, lacking a reverent fear of God, and hesitate to share our faith, relegating it to a secondary concern. Let's heed the warning against spiritual apathy and rekindle our fervor for God's kingdom. Don't settle for lukewarm existence when vibrant, transformative faith awaits.
