Emboldened - A Fall Women’s Retreat
October 24 5pm- October 25th at 6pm

Hey ladies! You’re invited to our annual fall women’s retreat!

Throughout history, God has called women to rise up, speak out, and lead with courage. These women answered the call — they stepped forward with boldness and made an impact. Now it’s your turn.

Where is God calling you? Your workplace? Your community? Your dreams? This is your moment to rise up and step into His calling to share Christ boldly. Join us for a powerful time of renewal, connection, and inspiration. Come be emboldened.

You’re invited to this year’s Fall Women’s Retreat at beautiful Camp Tecumseh—a perfect opportunity to step away from the daily hustle, expectations, and responsibilities of life. Whether you’re navigating motherhood, career, or just needing a breather, this weekend is designed to help you relax, connect, and recharge. Women from all over Indiana and the Lafayette area will come together for laughter (including a Friday night comedian!), bonfires, optional canoe rides, and meaningful conversations. No matter where you are in your faith journey—or if you're just looking for a break—you’re welcome to come and experience rest, community, and reflection in a supportive and peaceful environment.

This year’s guest speaker is Janice Rigel-Henriquez - CHRISTIAN AUTHOR. SPEAKER. PODCAST HOST. COMEDIAN.

JUST A GIRL WHO LOVES JESUS, BUT THAT HASN’T ALWAYS BEEN MY STORY…

Heartbreak, rejection, divorce, self-doubt, insecurity and hopelessness…a perfectly painted picture of destruction that the enemy intended for my harm, but God now uses for good!

The pits and pains of life are never God’s desire for us, but praise God He finds us in those places and moves us from the mire and sets our feet on the ROCK!

My story isn’t so much about me as it is a testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of a God who rescued me from the pit of pain and pulled me into a joy-filled life.

From a very young age, I wrestled with low self-esteem and hating my big, bold personality. The very intricacies of the way God created me were the very things the enemy targeted with his lies. For so long, I battled believing I was too much and, at the same time, like I was not enough. I remember in second grade begging God to change me, not realizing what an insult that was to the One who created me.

I was not brought up “churched”, but I have always had a heart to know God and that desire led me as a teenager to invite myself to a youth group. Within a few months of attending, I was born-again and gave my life to Jesus. My journey since my decision to follow Christ is a mixed mural of beauty and brokenness, yet He has always been faithful through every valley and with me on every mountaintop.

My desire is to know Him and to make Him known, and I will spend my life for the cause of Christ.

“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.” - Erma Bombeck
