This building will be more than a place for our church to gather. Our vision is to create a welcoming, useful
space where children can learn and grow, families can find support,
and community organizations can come together.
The building will include classrooms and meeting spaces that can be used for children's ministry, classes,
small groups, trainings, HOA meetings and community gatherings. We also hope to make these spaces
available to local foster-care organizations for support groups, bio visits, meetings, trainings, and other
opportunities to encourage and equip foster and adoptive families.
A portion of the building will also be shared with The Foster Closet, a local nonprofit ministry providing
free clothing and basic care items to foster, adoptive, and relative-placement families throughout the
greater Lafayette area. Visit us ONLINE to find out more!
We are incredibly excited about what this shared space can mean for our community—
but first, we have a lot of work to do!
The building will require significant renovations and improvements, including:
Electrical work, concrete and structural work, hanging & finishing drywall, purchasing & installing new
flooring, building a wheelchair ramp/deck, replacing AC units and many other necessary improvements.
The cost of preparing the building has been greater than we originally anticipated, and we are reaching
out to local businesses and community partners who may be willing to help us make this vision a reality.
There are many ways you can make a difference:
- Make a financial contribution toward the building project
- Donate materials or supplies
- Donate labor or professional services
- Offer a nonprofit or community discount
- Sponsor a concrete pillar at $410.70 each (we have 36 pillars to install)
- Connect us with another business or individual who may be able to help
Whether your contribution is large or small, every gift helps us
take another step toward opening the doors.
We believe this building has the potential to become a valuable resource for our entire community—
a place where children can learn and grow, families can find encouragement, and organizations serving
vulnerable children and families have a place to gather and do their work.
